Peter Buckoke is a founder member of the Schubert Ensemble, a piano and strings quintet, winners of the Royal Philharmonic Society’s ‘Best Chamber Group’. He plays with The Nash Ensemble and various string quartets by invitation. He has performed with all the London based baroque groups.

Peter teaches the double bass and runs the Alexander Technique pathway at the Royal College of Music. He keeps bees on his bathroom roof in North London where he lives with his wife, Judith Kleinman, and their two whippets.
